Plot
The grieving therapist begins to tell his clients exactly what he thinks
By ignoring his training and ethics, he finds he’s making a huge difference in people’s lives, including his own. The „Crash” cast shares their best defining moments from Season 1 and finds out who has the best Harrison Ford impression.
Eventually, Goldstein spoke to Ford and sold him the role
When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said Goldstein initially wanted a „Harrison Ford type,” and prepared to audition for people like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they should take it to Ford first, thinking he would immediately reject it, but at least other people would hear that the project had been pitched to Harrison Ford, sparking interest from other notable actors.
I watched the first two episodes and loved them
Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but he was thrilled nonetheless. Featured in WatchMojo: The 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023).
I also respect the way he’s portrayed—he’s not doing something that other therapists are supposed to do, and that’s very clear
Part of the reason is that I find there’s something grounded in reality about a therapist who needs therapy and wants to reach out to his patients to uncover their issues unexpectedly. He hasn’t gotten into the silly situations of other shows like Loot, but he’s still early in the series and I’ll keep watching.
It’s not for everyone
That being said, I enjoy the depth of the characters, who don’t feel like caricatures; these are people I’m interested in getting to know.
